About the Program
The UX Writing Student Program shapes passionate, eager to learn students into confident UX writers. Through a series of lessons, workshops, 1 on 1 mentorship, and experience working with real teams at Wix, our program participants will gain everything they need to know to become professional UX writers and thrive in high tech.
This paid program is split into two parts, the first is a full-time bootcamp during summer break (July 20-October 16). Participants will be expected to work in-person 5 days a week and at the Wix Campus in Tel Aviv. The second part is a part-time session where participants will be expected to put in 20+ hours a week during the academic year. Depending on the participants' remaining studies, the program will last 1 to 2 years.

Recruitment process

Application window: April 10–May 8
Registration will be open for 30 days. We’ll review all applications as they come in and reach out to candidates on a rolling basis.

Intro call and home assignment
Candidates will receive an introductory phone call and be sent a home assignment if they are a good fit for the program.

Interview and assessment
1-hour, in-person professional interview and live assessment at our Campus in Tel Aviv.

2nd interview
45-minute in-person interview with the Head of UX Writers.

HR interview
Virtual HR interview to learn more about you and assess your cultural fit to Wix.

June 16–19: Job offer
Receive your job offer to join the UX Writing Student Program at Wix.

July 20: Program starts
The full-time summer bootcamp will begin. During the school year the program will shift to 20+ hours a week, with 3 in-person days from Wix Campus in Tel Aviv.

Your questions answered

Is this an internship or a student job?
From the very first day, this is a paid student job that offers a unique 11-week training period before being placed as a UX writer in one of our product teams.

What is the program duration?
We offer two tracks: 1 or 2 year program durations, depending on how long you have left in your studies. The 1 year program is from July 20, 2025-June 30, 2026. The 2 year program ends June 30, 2027.

Where does the program take place?
The program takes place in Tel Aviv at the Wix Campus, in Glilot junction.

What’s expected of me?
Program participants will be expected to be available from July 20–October 16 for a full time bootcamp at the Wix Campus, 5 full days a week. Starting October 19, 2025, participants will be expected to be available for at least 20 hours a week, as a part-time UX Writer on one of Wix's product teams.

What’s the curriculum?
In the bootcamp you’ll learn about the fundamentals of UX writing, our methodology for UX writing the Wix way, our voice and tone, how to research, A/B test, work with localization, and craft compelling content guided by the user voice and business goals. Each student will also complete a final project on a real Wix feature.

What if my application is rejected?
It’s important to keep in mind that even if you don’t get accepted to the program, our door at Wix is always open. This does not eliminate you from future applications. At any time, you can apply to open positions on our careers site or apply again to future program cycles.

Who should apply?
Often students apply with majors in English, psychology, journalism, communications, UX and other humanities – but we welcome anyone with native-level English, a strong writing background and interest in technology!

What happens after the program?
Our aim is to grow the next generation of UX writing stars and leaders at Wix. Some of our student writers may be offered full time positions based on performance and availability at the end of the program.
